Course Goals

A Reliable Recall
Want to able to take your dog off the lead and let them enjoy those large open spaces? In this 6-week Zen K9 Master package you will gain the knowledge and necessary tools to be able to give your dog that freedom without the worry of them running off. Recall is when you call your dog's name and they come back to you without any hesistation. This skill is one of the most important tools you could teach your pup and it will give you an even stronger bond.
A Solid Heel
The second most important skill you could teach your dog is a heel. A heel is when your dog is called to your side and stays there until released. Heeling is useful when you are walking and another car, dog or person approaches you can put your dog in this position to keep both them and yourself safe.
Sit means Sit! Down means Down!
Can your dog sit? Can your dog do a down? The most common answer to this is, "Yes." However, do you know what I really mean by this? What I mean is when I say "Sit" or "Down", I mean that as soon as I give this command the stay is implied. In this course, you will learn to give your dogs these commands from distances and even in high traffic areas.
Off-Leash Freedom (+ optional ecollar training)
Zen K9Master is all about growing the bond and giving your dog its independence while building the trust. Just like us humans, we enjoy our time we can spend to ourselves and so do our pups. Ecollar conditioning is available in this course, but is not required. Please inquire if interested in the ecollar training.

You will recieve your own slip lead included in this program. We buy our slip leads from Heather's Heros. They adjust to any breed size and clip directed to a flat collar or harness if desired.
